Universal Window Crank Shaft Extension and Door Latch Shaft Extension

Fits: Most Ford models, including:

• 1960s - 1970s Mustangs
• 1940 and later Ford Trucks

Compatibility: Works with a 7/16"-1/2" Diameter 16 Splined Shaft on the Window Regulator when the handle is attached to the regulator.

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the stock door handle(s) and, if necessary, the armrest and door panel.
2. Install the crank shaft extension over the existing shaft and tighten the set screw(s) using a 1/8" hex head Allen wrench to 72-75 inch-pounds.
3. Apply Blue Lock-Tite to the set screw to prevent it from loosening.
4. The set screw is made of steel with a cone point for optimal holding capacity.
5. Proper torque will ensure the pointed end of the set screw bites into the steel shaft, preventing it from loosening over time.
